Hi, this is emersontwain,
Many of our cherished friends have left a blog site we will not name, because of meanness, troll behavior and sabotage. Although, in the past few days the Admin has assured us all is well, I have my doubts.
Many of us have found the forum a support and a lifeline. Many of us do not have many other outlets to good stimulating conversation,
a. friendly support
b. a way to continue learning
c. peaking and satisfying our curiosity
I am heartsick and lonely for those of you who have given up. You are missed. To those of us still clinging to the old site, I hope offering the VineHaven will give you an opportunity to safely Post and Comment. Please, the more the merrier!
There will be no advertising, therefore No temptation to scam the system for a buck. Hope that helps. Also, as moderator, If I am not on line, I will be there at least three times a day to check the posts and comments for troll crusts. If anyone wants to reach me in the meantime or for various other personal reasons, or complaints etc. Please use ladieswithapast@gmail.com (email address) emersontwain

ReplyDeleteYe Haw! I have sent emails again, this time inviting everone to be an author. That way if we want we can post our own poetry, articles, recipies, rants etc without going through a bunch of red tape.
ReplyDeletenice job emerson ;)
ReplyDeleteftnacknic, I hope you will contibute and we can get as angry and smart arsed as we want.Oh and when we get too mushy and stuff you will be their to throw a pail of water on us? Please?
ReplyDeleteWow Emerson - this is cool.
ReplyDeleteYou know for years I have read these blogs - mainly fulltime RVers (my unfulfilled dream)- and I never knew this existed. They were mainly day to day travel/living posts but I can see how this could work. Post a topic then have comments. You're a genius emerson.
Does it only allow you to have more than one post per day? And it just keeps dating the same date? Will keep them seperated with comments for each? (You know me emerson - details, details, chuckle chuckle)
ReplyDeleteI do see one problem LOL - will have to watch my fat fingers and keep dictionary.com open while I comment.
I hope to get you guys posting your own articles and then we can comment all we want troll free! I have another post just waitng for permission to use one of slemays poems along with on from spacehippy. It should be up tomorrow. If I don't hear from slemay, I will take him out and add him later.
ReplyDeleteHi emersontwain...
ReplyDeleteJust got into my email and found yours amongst those I needed to read.
I will bookmark your link and check in once in a while to see whats going on with your new site.
Hope this works out well for you and all the rest. Like I mentioned to you before I'm pretty much burned out after the last few years I've been blogging about the Bush\Cheney War Crime family and have not posted anything since Christmas.
I did see a story today though about Canada trying to prosecute Bush for War Crimes and ban him from entering the country.
Soon I hope and pray he won't be able to put his feet on any foreign soil for fear of arrest and prosecution.
That goes for Cheney as well since it seems he had a Assassination Team that answered only to him. He's another one that needs to be tried, convicted and executed for his War Crimes as well.
See you around and ...
God Bless.
LOL. I would love for Canada to turn him over to the Hague for trial. March 17th? Right? Or better still, extreme rendition for GW,Cheney, and Rumsfeld. Oh, be still my heart! ER would mean they just kinda dissapeared. I like that. The US can stomp around and pretend to hunt for them like the Bushies did Bin Laden. That would be some irony.
ReplyDeleteHow could he be so dim as to follow a visit to Canada from President Obama! Gonna be way more humiliating than the Inauguration! I hope you keep us informed from the Canada side. Our news belongs to the big ol Rupert Murdock, mostly.
Donna Doreen lives in Canada, also, wonder what her take is?
Hi Friends!! Becky, thanks for the invite; I've never blogged in this manner before; and thought my blog was down, due to not using it. Hmm, I don't think much of Bush or Cheney. I think they are war-criminals deserving prosecution; I feel they endangered america and its people; in ways which may never be mended. We don't like any of them here in Canada. We do however, see great hope with Obama - and wish him well!
ReplyDeleteOh.. my blog is kind of down, has lots of advertising on it... I do have another blogger page; I wonder if I can switch it over to that one, instead of this one? Any thoughts how to do this?
ReplyDeleteDonna you are already registered as an author on this Blog. We can have up to 100. Just sign in and Click NEW POST at the top of the page. That goes for eveyone. em
ReplyDeleteDonna but are you all gonna arrest him when he gets to Canada? Come on. We will all stomp around and yell that's not fair and then send you flowers! Giggle!
ReplyDeleteLOL - I'll speak to the suits
ReplyDelete- so start stompin'
and I like daises of all colours and size flowers with babies breath and some greenery...
and, and, and... one red rose. : )
Hello Becky,
ReplyDeleteThanks for the dog in the leprechaun hat. For a moment when I saw someone hiding behind the wall, I thought it for sure to be some nasty little midget Irishman with a bucket of grenades and a gnarly speach on how everyone better stay the h*ll away from his gold, which I couldn't blame him, especially during times such as these. Though my life is incredibly blessed in so many areas, at the moment of the card, I was a bit down concerning a few personal matters and you certainly managed to draw a smile. I really can't think of the last time I've smiled. Oh yeah, it was inauguration day. May you be blessed.
Dmitri,
ReplyDeleteVery sorry you have had sorrow.
Since most of my gene pool is Irish, I can do melancholy like it is an art form, but, I do it alone. That is the pool where all that lovely, lonely Irish poetry and music come from.
We Irish, who have spent the centuries with not much to laugh about, never miss a chance to crack wize and have a laugh with friends. And that, also, comes from the same gene pool where the Limericks and Jigs come from!
I hope your times are better soon.
Blessing to you and peace.
Becky/Em
Hi emerson,
ReplyDeleteJust found this through another ’viner's blog. I hadn't realized you'd left "that other place." Sorry to hear it but I understand. I'll roam around this site and see if I have anything worthwhile to contribute.
I hope VineHaven finds its people!
